Originally designed in 1952 for the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University, Ferdinand Kramer's minimalist daybed is a versatile piece that has stood the test of time.

With a linear form and refined upholstery the Senckenberg's enduring features mean that it fits as seamlessly into the home today as it did at the time of its conception. By folding up the edge of the headrest it is transformed into a rectangular armrest, a signifier of Kramer's preoccupation with multi-functional designs.

The base has been crafted with wave springs to ensure optimal comfort whether seated or lying. Delivered as one piece, the Senckenberg Daybed is available with waxed oak or walnut legs.

e15 furniture stands for consistent, progressive design coupled with high-grade materials and innovative, handcrafted production methods.

e15 design furniture that celebrates essential forms. Named after the London postcode where their first workshop was based, the company has since relocated to Frankfurt and are now one of Germany's most celebrated design brands.

Known best for their pioneering use of solid wood, e15's Bigfoot Table is the perfect embodiment of their philosophy, its geometric lines softened by the natural markings and characteristics of solid oak and walnut. The company soon embraced working with other materials such as precious metals, marble and bold colours as seen in the Enoki and Habibi coffee tables. ..
