e15 celebrates 25 years of Philip Mainzer's Backenzahn with the release of a special black edition.

Articulated as separate elements, the legs are carved from the centre of the tree and develop their characteristic cracks as the wood seasons, making every piece unique.

To produce the matt black finish, a special mixture of natural ingredients is treated to the oak resulting in a natural tannic reaction. This process showcases the natural character of wood and further echos e15’s passion for traditional craftsmanship and special manufacturing methods.

Each piece is stamped with Philipp Mainzer’s signature and the anniversary imprint underneath.
