Part of a collection by famed Modernist architect Ferdinand Kramer, the Aswan Stool was inspired by Ancient Egypt and faithfully reissued by e15.
Drawing on the resurgence of Egyptian styles following the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb, Kramer designed the stool in 1925. With a woven top, offered in textile or leather, the Aswan Stool nods to the era while maintaining a timeless yet modern aesthetic.
The simple rectangular legs are crafted in European Oak or Walnut, and are stabilised with horizontal braces and a concealed steel profile. Please note that if selected in leather, the seat will naturally develop a patina over time. Delivered as one piece.
