“GamFratesi aim to create furniture that illustrates the process and the techniques that created it, and which reflect a persistent exploration of the diverse border zone between harmony and disharmony.”
GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by danish architect Stine Gam and italian architect Enrico Fratesi. their studio is based in Copenhagen. The duo have worked with many design companies including Hay and Fritz Hansen, but are perhaps best known for their Gubi Beetle Chair, a modern classic that is instantly recognisable. Also for Gubi their Bat Lounge Chair and Gent Dining Chair exemplify their trademark blend of both Italian and Danish design, delivered often with a nod to natural forms.
