Designed by Konstantin Grcic for Mattiazzi, the MC20 Cugino lends a unique and striking design which can be used as either a stool or side table.
The Cugino features a clever interplay between solid materiality and void to produce a form open to one's interpretation. Konstantin Grcic shares, "Cugino is the result of many tries; it happened over time, with wanting it to be an object that we don't already know, but also something that is maybe a little familiar."
Combining Grcic's background in wood working and Mattiazzi's expert craftsmanship, the wooden stool/table reveals complex wood joinery and fine finishing. Made of solid Oak, the Cugino is available in Natural or Black.
