Its slender silhouette comprises numerous plywood shells that are manually bent and glued to a solid wood ring in a technique inspired by that of model aeroplane production. Requiring no screws or nails, the production process reveals the three-dimensional qualities of the plywood, resulting in a lightweight and well-proportioned chair for private and contract settings.
e15 offer the Houdini Chair in a range of natural wood and coloured lacquers to suit a diverse range of interiors. Also available in the Houdini family are the Houdini Armchair, Bessy Stool, Bessy Lounge Chair, Eugene Lounge Chair and Jean Stool.
