The second coffee table designed as part of Ferdinand Kramer's 1950s 'Knock-Down" series, reflecting a societal change in the expectations of our homes and furnishings.
Named after artist Charlotte Posenenske, a friend of the designer, the table comprises two intersecting plywood sheets and a circular top measuring 1.2cm thick. The Charlotte Coffee Table reflects Kramer's vision of everyday functionality, with a straightforward design that is easily inverted and collapsed.
While simplistic in form, the curved cut outs of the base reveal a sculptural quality. With an eye-catching selection of colours, the Charlotte table is a statement piece suited to a diverse range of environments. Delivered in three pieces.
Available in Oak veneer with a clear lacquer, or coloured lacquer in Signal White, Jet Black or Mint.
