Anderssen and Voll's Tile Cushion is an easy way to incorporate pattern onto your sofa while paying homage to traditional crafts.

The designers worked closely with employees of the Norwegian textile mill Gudbrandsdalen, who have been weaving wool textiles since 1884. Drawing on their expertise Anderssen and Voll opted for a complex weaving technique, involving multiple layers of different colours bound together.

The technique works beautifully with the Tile Cushion's geometric print, giving it an almost three-dimensional effect. The material's subtle contrasts are complemented by a choice of rich, earthy colours, revealing more details the closer you get. The filling is a mix of feather and polyester, with a 100% wool cover that can be cleaned in a gentle machine wash.
