Oslo based Torbjørn Anderssen (b. 1976) and Espen Voll (b. 1965) formerly of Norway Says, founded Anderssen & Voll in 2009. They have led the vanguard of the 'New Nordic' movement producing popular designs for such as Sweden's Muuto and Danish design furniture brand Hay. Their continued success has led them to work internationally too, with Italian brands such as Magis and Lapalma.
Spanning textiles, stools, sofas and much more, their expertise within the realms of furniture design is diverse. Their look however, is instantly identifiable, smooth, sleek lines and softly considered proportions, it is this design sensibility that earned the duo a ten year retrospective exhibition at Norway's National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design.
