One of Muller Van Severen's earliest designs, from its corner emerges a slender steel lamp, forming a gracefully lit arc over the centre of the table. The table top itself is made in polyethylene, a material commonly found in the hospitality industry in the form of industrial chopping boards. The integrated lamp has brass fittings and a white opaline glass shade.
The distinction between art and design narrows when the intention of the creators is not to produce one or the other, but to just create and live. This was very much the case with Muller Van Severen's first collection. ..
