Exploring traditional woodworking with a contemporary approach, the Colour Wood Table from Karimoku is a distinctive addition to the kitchen or dining room
To create the table's characteristic base, strips of oak wood are joined together, giving the column a multi-faceted appearance. On top of the base is a polygon-shaped top, the light grey version finished with a graphic dot pattern that gives the impression of a transparent tablecloth. The pattern interacts with the objects placed on the table, subtly influencing its final arrangement, and the generous tabletop is large enough to comfortably seat 6 people.
Designed by Scholten and Baijings, the Colour Wood table is a contemporary view on traditional shapes and techniques, and is expertly made by Karimoku New Standard.
