Originally created in the 1940s, the loveseat's expert craftsmanship and timeless expression have secured its place among Ercol's most cherished designs. Made of solid elm and beech wood, it features Ercol's trademark slatted back and elegantly angled legs, with a moulded seat that comfortably fits two people.
A versatile piece that is equally at home around a country kitchen table or a contemporary living area, the loveseat is a true Ercol classic. It is available in a range of finishes, from classic lacquers to graded colours, that protect the timber while showcasing the material's natural grain.
Founded in 1920 by a young Italian immigrant, Lucian Ercolani, the goal was to make furniture that was well designed and made with pride by craftsmen in a good working environment.
Their Ercol Originals collection contains many of the chairs, tables and sideboards created by Ercolini in the 1950's and 60's. These pieces, such as their distinctive Quaker Chair and Loveseat continue to find a place in contemporary interiors everywhere. ..
