First introduced in 1966 by Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini, the Amanta Sofa was a groundbreaking concept for modern living, offering flexibility and a sculptural approach to form.

Reissued by HAY, the Amanta remains faithful to Bellini’s iconic silhouette while embracing a more sustainable future. The shell is crafted from 99% post-consumer recycled ABS, and the cushions are made with 94% bio-balanced foam. A palette of new shell colours and contemporary upholstery options brings this design classic firmly into the present.

Available as a single module or in pre-configured 2-, 3-, and 4-module variations, the Amanta Sofa is both timeless and forward-looking, a statement piece for contemporary interiors.
