
Mario Bellini (b. 1935, Milan) is one of Italy’s most celebrated architects and designers. A graduate of the Milan Polytechnic, he has received the prestigious Compasso d’Oro eight times, with 25 of his works included in the permanent collection of MoMA New York, which dedicated a retrospective to him in 1987.
