As much an art object as it is a functional design, the 9464 Wall Lamp was first conceptualised by Finnish designer Paavo Tynell in 1947.
Originally trained as a blacksmith, Tynell went on to open his own metalwork and lighting studio in 1918, where he developed his simple yet elegant design sensibilities.
With its distinctive shape formed in polished brass, the 9464 Wall Lamp features Tynell's characteristic twin dot perforations throughout, diffusing its soft light across the room. Light is also directed both upwards and downwards, with a matte glass diffuser for a gentle illumination.
