Originally trained as a blacksmith, Tynell went on to open his own metalwork and lighting studio in 1918, where he developed his simple yet elegant design sensibilities.
With its distinctive shape formed in polished brass, the 9464 Wall Lamp features Tynell's characteristic twin dot perforations throughout, diffusing its soft light across the room. Light is also directed both upwards and downwards, with a matte glass diffuser for a gentle illumination.

Since the Gubi's inception in the late 1960's the company have pursued a goal of producing lighting and furniture that is as functional as it is beautiful. Their collection crosses generations with it's rediscovered pieces such as Greta Grossman's Grasshopper Lamp, seventies classic the Multi-Lite pendant, and the eponymously named Adnet Mirror.
