Natural materials and clever use of space define this project by Robert London Design
The studio's innovative approach has transformed the interior of this three-storey Victorian house. Following conversations with the client to discuss their unique needs, the designers reimagined the space as a calm, understated and carefully configured family home. The revised layout is designed in dialogue with the original architecture and features a ground floor extension and bespoke kitchen.
Materiality is of crucial importance in the design. Jura limestone and Dinesen wood flooring feature throughout, chosen for their hardwearing, natural qualities that improve with age. A muted palette of natural, neutral tones characterises the furniture selection, complementing the feel of the interior.
