FLINT and Flanagan Lawrence Architects transform Queen Victoria Street into a contemporary workspace defined by natural materials and inviting shared spaces
Designed by FLINT in collaboration with Flanagan Lawrence Architects, Queen Victoria Street is a reimagined workplace in the heart of the City of London, close to St Paul’s Cathedral.
The refurbishment creates a welcoming and flexible environment, balancing considered material choices with spaces designed for both focused work and informal collaboration.
Natural materials, considered lighting and planting establish a calm, contemporary aesthetic throughout. The entrance and shared amenity spaces are designed to encourage informal meetings and collaboration, while a landscaped roof terrace offers views across the City and towards St Paul’s Cathedral.
In the Sky Lounge, the Develius Sofa and Margas Lounge Chairs by &Tradition create a relaxed setting for informal meetings and moments of pause.
The sculptural Moon Elliptical Table is paired with Tokyo Chairs bringing together distinctive forms and understated detailing within the shared spaces.
Viaduct was pleased to supply furniture for the project, including designs from Bensen, Gubi, &Tradition and New Works. Selected pieces bring comfort and character to the interiors, complementing the wider design vision.
