Palomar is a celebrated restaurant in the heart of Soho specialising in the food of modern day Jerusalem with menu influenced by the rich cultures of Southern Spain, North Africa and the Levant
Palomar is a small restaurant that makes use of all it's available space. Designed by Gundry + Ducker, the restaurant evokes the journey from Jerusalem to London, with a look inspired the 'rich geographical and cultural mix of the food being served.'
The concept evolved from the idea of 'the collector and traveller' with interiors drawn from the 1920's and 1930's - a golden era of travel. Refined materials such as brass, mahogany and marble were combined to create a simple palette that maximises the space of the small site.
The restaurant combines an informal open kitchen with zinc bar top, with a more formal dining area at the back atop reclaimed parquet flooring.
