Cake Architecture's design for Kricket Canary Wharf pairs bold materiality with a warm, atmospheric interior
Located beneath the railway arches at Canary Wharf's North Dock, Kricket's latest restaurant pairs bold materiality with a warm, atmospheric interior. Designed by Cake Architecture, the space is defined by a curved tiled concrete façade, softly lit interiors and an open-plan dining room centred around a 15-metre kitchen counter that also serves as the bar.
A rich palette of crimson tiles, stainless steel and exposed concrete creates a distinctive backdrop, balancing industrial character with carefully considered detailing. Uniform seating and understated furnishings reinforce the restaurant's calm, cohesive aesthetic while allowing the vibrant colours and textures to take centre stage.
Viaduct was pleased to supply furniture for the project, including pieces from Vaarnii and Massproductions, contributing to a contemporary interior that reflects Kricket's refined yet relaxed approach to dining.
