Comprising a charging base, an aluminium body, a hand-blown opal glass diffuser and simple handle, Nox uses an innovative wireless charging system that provides light for up to fifteen hours.
Its integrated touch dimmer feature means that the Nox Lamp is suited to numerous purposes, from reading a book to illuminating the dining table. With a luxe materiality free from the constraints of cables, it makes for a sophisticated portable light with a clean and modern aesthetic.
Manufactured by Astep, it is available with a Bronze, Champagne, Silver or Graphite structure, all with a white diffuser.
Astep's lighting collection is a curious blend of tradition and technology intertwined with a family story. Alessandro Sarfatti is the grandson of Gino and son of Riccardo. Gino Sarfatti founded legendary Italian lighting company Arteluce in 1939 and Riccardo was a co-founder of the similarly innovative Luceplan.
Flos' Taccia Lamp designed in 1958 by Achille and Piercomo Castiglioni nods to classical architecture with it's central fluted column.
