The distinctive Model 548 Table Lamp is an exercise in balance and reflection, originally designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1951.
In a unique composition, diffused light is directed upwards towards a coloured reflective screen, creating a beautiful balancing act with a sophisticated light effect.
Sarfatti was typically inspired by new technologies and materials, exemplified by Model 548 not only in its design concept but also in the use of methacrylate in the reflector, an unconventional choice of material at the time.
Ideal for a desk or side table, this modern reissue by Astep replaces the original incandescent bulb with an adjustable LED light source and integrates the dimmer switch into the lamp.
