Designed by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen for Magnus Olesen, the 8000 Series Chair is a Danish icon.

Based on unique and patented production technology, the sturdy and flexible 8000 Series has been crafted without the use of screws and dowels, making the chair incredibly lightweight. As well as being stackable, the back arch of the chair can rest on a table surface so it seemingly floats above the ground, making it a practical design for cafe and restaurant environments.

Originally announced in red, yellow and blue colourways in 1981, the relaunched set welcomes a new palette inspired by the 80s. Available in Retro Pink, Retro Red, Retro Yellow, Red, Mint, Retro Black, Retro Blue, Grey and Beige. Stackable up to 6 pieces, the 8000 Series Chair is made from FSC lacquered beech.
