The chair is named after Copenhagen’s Betty Nansen Theatre, originally built in 1857 and housed in a wooden pavilion, and is inspired by the need for any space to have comfortable seating, regardless of its purpose.
That concept is reflected in the Betty Wood Chair's slightly curved and angled backrest and seat, allowing for maximum comfort with a minimal form.
The Betty Wood Chair is stackable up to 8 pieces and comes with felt gliders installed as standard. Tested for strength, durability and safety, it is suitable for both residential and commercial use.
Also available is the Betty Chair, which features the same simple form with an exposed linen webbing seat.
