After the great success among critics and the public, the innovative family of lamps by the Norwegian designer now expands. The Counterbalance floor lamp joins the wall and spotlight versions and features the same adjustable head allowing you to direct light exactly where needed from its energy efficient LED light source.
The weight of the die-cast aluminium head locks its placement at any given height on the slender steel stem. A stable die cast zinc-alloy base keeps the stem vertical.
Recommended Light Source: LED 12W warm white light source, 2700K, 800 lumen.
Luceplan emerged in the late 1970's, founded by Riccardo Sarfatti, Paolo Rizzatto and Sandra Severi, the trio wanted to create an experimental Italian lighting company, inspired by their own experiences of working with the pioneering Gino Sarfatti and Arteluce.
Their experiments proved to be resounding successes, with products such as their Constanza lamp finding a place in the MOMA permanent collection. For us, their recent work with Daniel Rybakken provides a great example of how conceptual design can be realised in practical, functional ways. ..
The VV Cinquanta is an Italian design classic from Astep, with playful colurs and angles that express a sense of movement
