The Daumiller Chair by Rainer Daumiller for Gubi was intended to withstand children's play and adult's parties.
Retro in its design, the Daumiller Side Chair demonstrates Daumiller's relation with nature and his understanding of natural materials and forms. Inspired by the traditional Danish milking stool and the China Chair by Hans J. Wegner, Daumiller is a robust design suitable for a range of indoor environments.
Originally produced by Hirthshals Sawmill in 1977, the bold expression of the chair remains timeless. Crafted from certified solid pine, the ergonomic backrest moves with the body, gently tilting to provide extra support. Available in Brown/Black or Golden Pine with Natural Rush Cord seat.
