Originally designed in 1963 and reissued in 2025, the Seki-Han Floor Lamp by Flos showcases Tobia Scarpa’s mastery of clean architectural form and traditional craftsmanship.
The Seki-Han Floor Lamp features two rotating ash wood blades surrounding a central tubular light source, providing both direct and indirect illumination. Inspired by naval woodworking techniques, its rotating design creates a soft ambient glow, even when partially closed.
The lamp includes a custom dimmable linear LED and is also compatible with standard T8 LED tubes for flexible maintenance. Each blade can be adjusted independently to control light distribution. Chrome-plated metal fittings and a raw black iron base add structural contrast.
