Originally launched in 1959, the DK3 Pia Chair by Danish designer Poul Cadovis is a light and compact take on mid-century design.
Designed to use the least possible material, without compromising on detail and comfort, this contemporary sidechair features a slender tapered wood frame with an intricately handwoven paper cord seat. The formed plywood offers depth and comfort. This contrast of materials coupled with a modern form makes the Pia Chair a distinct and enduring design.
Frame is offered in Black lacquered Oak, Smoked Oak, European Walnut and Oak in the finishes oil, white oil or soap. Seat is made of paper cordel treated with soap and wax.
