Originally created for the noma restaurant in Copenhagen, designer David Thulstrip's brief was to create a chair with simple modern lines that was crafted using traditional techniques.
As it was designed for a commercial space, ARV has a high level of comfort, with thoughtfully considered curves and angles that conform to the body of the sitter.
Made of natural or fumed oak with traditional Scandinavian woven paper cord on the seats and back or just the seat, the ARV Side Chair is simultaneously contemporary yet timeless.
