Together with Brdr. Kruger, designer Rasmus Baekel Fex developed an artistic piece for a Danish Mindcraft exhibition into the F Armchair.
With a frame made in solid oak or ash wood, the chair has a highly customisable expression, and is offered in a range of natural finishes or colourful wood stains.
Its craftsmanship and woodturning techniques are contrasted by a paper cord or handwoven polyester seat, giving a modern update to the traditional Shaker aesthetic.
Also available is the F Side Chair.
Founded in 1886 by the two Krüger brothers Theodor and Ferdinand, the company was originally a woodturning workshop and is today a self-producing design company, where the commitment to quality and craftsmanship has been nurtured for five generations, ensuring the same high quality in every piece that leaves the family-owned workshop.
Brdr. Krüger believes that timeless quality is achieved through a combination of the best materials and the finest craftsmanship. The company has a strong passion for wood and values the feel and touch of its unique products. The company collaborate with renowned designers and architects such as Studio David Thulstrup to create designs with character and soul...
The ARV Armchair is a new take on Danish craft traditions, designed by Studio David Thulstrup.
Based on a design concept inspired by a tree's branches, the ARV Side Chair has its roots in traditional Danish carpentry techniques.
