Relaunched for 2022 by &Tradition, the original X Lounge Chair by Hvidt & Mølgaard was inspired by old wooden tennis rackets.
The distinctive curved wooden legs of the HM10 have been developed over years of experimentation with laminated sheets of oak wood. Natural rattan is weaved around powder-coated stainless steel fixings to create the lounge seat, adding to the understated aesthetic of the chair.
The frame of the X Lounge Chair is crafted from oak veneer sheets that have been formpressed together around a solid walnut insert. The gently curved legs of the chair are then milled into shape.
