Luca Nichetto’s Gio Chandelier for &Tradition takes inspiration from Murano glass craftsmanship, blending geometric precision with a sculptural presence.

Named in tribute to Italian design icon Gio Ponti, this modern chandelier refines traditional aesthetics by stripping away excess ornamentation while embracing bold colour pairings.

Inspired by Nichetto’s deep-rooted connection to Murano, where his grandfather was a glass artisan, the Gio Lamp showcases layered, spun aluminium tiers that form an elegant conical silhouette. It emits both up-light and down-light, with an open tip on the largest cone directing illumination downward while the upper tiers diffuse a soft, ambient glow.

Crafted from spun aluminium and steel, with an acrylic diffuser, Gio is a striking centrepiece for both large and intimate spaces.
