Designed by Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra, the Mynt Chair redefines dynamic sitting through an intuitive balance of movement and comfort.

At the core of the design is a patented weight-activated mechanism that enables the seat to tilt independently of the backrest. As the sitter shifts position, Mynt responds naturally, tilting forward or backward with adaptive resistance that adjusts to the user’s weight. Height is the only setting that requires manual adjustment.

Mynt offers the soft, domestic character of a universal chair combined with the ergonomics of a task chair. Its understated profile makes it ideal for flexible workspaces, meeting rooms, shared environments, and even home dining settings where comfort is essential.

The back and seat can be specified in plastic, plywood, or upholstery, with optional padded covers for added comfort. Thanks to discreet zip fasteners, the upholstery elements are easy to remove for cleaning or replacement, helping Mynt maintain a fresh appearance and adapt to changing needs.
