The Eames DAW Plastic chair has a distinctive 'Eiffel' shaped base and is considered to be one of Charles & Ray Eames' most iconic designs.
Produced for New York's Museum of Modern Art Low-Cost Furniture Design Competition this design was the first industrially manufactured plastic chair.
Since the 1950s the organically shaped seat shell of the Plastic Side Chair has been combined with various bases and produced in the millions. It can also be supplied fully or partially upholstered upon request.
- Offered online is the Eames Plastic DAW with Golden Maple legs with wire cross struts in Basic Dark.
