The Pal Stool is a prime example of Sami Kallio's classical woodworking skills paired with contemporary sensibilities.
As is characteristic of his designs, the Pal Stool is deeply rooted in traditional Scandinavian values and modernised by clean lines and uncomplicated forms.
This versatile low stool is crafted in oiled, painted or smoked oak, with the choice of a solid or more traditional cane mesh seat.
Manufactured by Northern, its three-legged, lightweight construction is designed to save space, and can be easily stacked away when it is not in use.
Rather than sitting underneath the stool, the legs rise parallel to the seat, creating a striking profile with a contemporary design detail.
