Designed by Italian icon Piergiorgio Cazzaniga, the internal tension that gives the table its name is contained within a slender top, allowing for a range of dimensions with the same minimal expression.
This lightweight and contemporary table has a unique material composition, made in acrylic resin with either stratified laminate or rock minerals depending on your colour selection.
The Tense Dining Table is a contemporary option for both residential and commercial uses. If you would like a size that you do not see listed here, please email [email protected] or call our showroom on 020 7278 8456.
Tense is available in 5 heights (H.35, H.45, H.73, H.90, H.110) and 36 sizes, with lengths from 140 to 400 cm, with the larger versions particularly suited to workspaces as the Tense Table System. An outdoor version is also available.
Milan based MDF Italia focus on a particular kind of Italian minimalism that prioritises innovation. Best known for their Random Shelves by Neuland Industriedesign and the Flow Chair by Jean Marie Massaud, the company was also an early adopter of the use of Cristalplant® as a furniture material, as seen in the S Table by Xavier Lust. The composite material blends natural and manmade sources to create a resin that is 100% recyclable and manufactured in Italy.
