The Uncino's sculpted ash sections are made with a hybrid construction of precise numerically controlled milling machines and Mattiazzi's dedicated handcraftsmanship.

The wood is held in place by simple metal rods, which remain subtly visible through gently raised bumps in the Uncino Stool's surface and lend it an organic expression. Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the bar stool's simplistic construction is complemented by a keen attention to detail and an inherent sense of lightness.

The Uncino is suited to a range of applications including bar seating. Uncino is available in a range of natural or black stained wood finishes. Also available is the Uncino Chair.
