A collaboration between Rietveld Originals x HAY, the contemporary Crate collection celebrates simplicity and spatial design.

Inspired to create a design using surplus wooden shipping crates, Dutch architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld created the Crate series. Respecting the original 1943 design, HAY have used the same balanced proportions and aesthetic to recreate the Crate Lounge Chair.

Made from FSC certified solid pinewood and a water-based lacquered treatment, the lounge chair is able to withstand outdoor conditions. Suitable for a variety of outdoor, residential and contract environments. Easy to install, requiring only screw assembly.

Dimensions: W.58 x D.77 x H.64.5 cm.
Seat height: 32 cm.
Available in London Fog, White, Black, Iron Red and Lacquered Pine colourways.
