First designed in 1958, the Swan Chair was intended to offer a sculptural contrast to the SAS Hotel's straight edges and vertical lines.
Its curved back and sides serve to comfortably envelop the sitter, while an unmistakeable mid-century charm ensures it is as popular now than at the time of its design.
The Swan Chair's shell is made of a polyurethane foam which is reinforced with fibreglass, and finished with a selection of specially selected Fritz Hansen upholstery. Its chromed base has a handy swivel function which adds to the chair's distinctive look.
