Designed by Lars Werner for Form & Refine, the Shoemaker Chair™ No. 68 is a timeless Danish classic that has been continuously produced since 1936.

Carved from a single, solid piece of wood, the generously shaped seat is sculpted to provide exceptional comfort. Natural variations in the timber ensure that every chair is unique, while the turned legs and signature T-shaped stretcher create a harmonious silhouette with stability and strong references to Nordic design traditions.

Lars Werner explains, "We have tirelessly optimized the chair... the T legs were added for extra stability and the seat was re-shaped and rounded so that if the chair falls, the rounded profile would protect the topline from breaking."

Handcrafted in Denmark by the same local joinery, the chair reflects generations of craftsmanship.
