Designed by Frits Henningsen for Carl Hansen & Søn, the FH36 Windsor Chair is a refined interpretation of the traditional Windsor chair

Crafted from solid FSC™-certified oak and carefully sanded by hand, the high-backed chair showcases the exceptional craftsmanship for which Henningsen’s designs are known. Its open spindle frame and gently curved back, seat, and armrests create a light and inviting expression.

Despite its clean and seemingly simple construction, the FH38 requires multiple traditional carpentry techniques to achieve its precise form. Each chair reflects the skill and heritage of Danish woodworking, resulting in a piece that is beautifully crafted.
