Originally designed in 1959, the Le Sfere collection embodies designer Gino Sarfatti's fascination with the moon and sky.
In Model 2019, Sarfatti multiplied opaline glass spheres to magical effect, each held in plae by and aluminium ring to create a forward-thinking chandelier with a graphic expression.
The Le Sfere can still be found in a range of commissioned projects, including the famous Teatro Regio in Turin, Italy, where it can still be seen in a variety of compositions, including cascades and columns, that emphasise the beauty and versatility of the system.
Presented for the first time in 40 years at the Salone del Mobile 2018, this multifaceted luminaire is a striking solution for illuminating all kinds of spaces, from a modest corridor to exclusive private and commercial settings.
