The Tip of the Tongue series is an example of Anastassiades' longstanding fascination with balance and economy of form. Each light is hand crafted in small artisan workshops.
The Tip of the Tongue wall light is available with a polished brass or polished nickel-plated brass base with a diameter of 12cm. The glass diffuser is 18cm in diameter. Please reference the technical download sheet for full information on wiring.
Recommended light source: Max 40W frosted G9 halogen bulb.
Michael Anastassiades trained as a civil engineer at Imperial College before studying Industrial Design at the Royal College of Art. As a consequence, his work often sits at the intersection between Art and Science.
As well as producing designs for his eponymous brand, Anastassiades has worked with Flos, Lobmeyr and Herman Miller amongst others to produce products for their collections. His work also features in the permanent collections of several organisations including the Victoria & Albert Museum, The Crafts Council of Great Britain and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. ..
