Konstantin Grcic’s Apsis Collection for Mattiazzi is a series of seating and tables defined by a strong architectural character.

The name references the architectural term apsis, a semi-circular space used since antiquity to structure and frame interiors, reflected in the collection’s distinctive curved forms.

At the centre of the collection is the Apsis Armchair, characterised by its generous horseshoe-shaped backrest, offering both comfort and flexibility in seating positions. This curved geometry informs the chair’s unique construction, creating a radial composition that defines its sculptural identity.

Crafted from solid wood, each piece reflects Mattiazzi’s expertise in refined woodworking. Precisely milled components combine soft curves with clean edges, resulting in a design that is both tactile and visually balanced.

Available in Beech or Walnut, with a selection of fabrics and leathers.
