The cylindrical Firefly Pendant Light by Mater is a modern take on a traditional flycatcher by Mexican designer José de la O.
Concealed within the partially sandblasted glass is an efficient LED light source, creating a bright glow around this hanging object. Its top, in either copper or black, follows the shape of the glass diffuser, becoming a cohesive part of the pendant light's design.
The simple form of the Firefly Pendant lamp means that it can be easily grouped together in different heights and formations to create your own bespoke lighting composition. Manufactured by Mater, it is a practical everyday object with a Mexican heritage and a Scandinavian aesthetic.
