The Aram 2 Rug by Kvadrat honours the artisanal Sumak weaving technique with its handwoven structure and dense volume.
Crafted from 100% New Zealand wool, the re-edition of the Aram Rug is made by looping bundles of piled yarns around the warp to create a thick, braid-like weave. This is complemented with a finer, thinly woven border that neatly finishes the ends of the rug.
Due to the durability of the Aram, it is suitable for a range of residential environments, adding a warm texture to living and private spaces.
Offered online in a selection of understated colourways in the following size:
