Hay's Rebar Side Table uses reinforcement steel, a material more commonly found in the construction trade that is used to strengthen and hold concrete in tension.
Challenging our perceptions of industrial material, Sylvain Willenz has recontextualised the material with a contemporary and functional side table. Manufactured by Hay, the side table comes in two versions: in powder-coated steel, the tabletop doubles as a handy tray that is easily lifted from its sturdy frame. Alternatively, an elegant black marble top provides a striking contrast to its utilitarian base.
The strength of the materials used ensures that the Rebar Side Table is suitable for use in a wide range of residential and contract settings. Legs made from powder-coated steel and top made from marble.
Offered online in the following options; Black legs with Black Marble top, Barn Red legs and Grey Marble top, Fossil Grey legs and Grey Marble top, Alabaster legs and Beige Marble top.
