The J42 Chair is a recognisable Scandinavian design classic, designed by Børge Mogensen.

Part of the classic FDB furniture series that includes the J77 Chair and J110 Chair, now reproduced for a modern audience. This Hay Chair features precise proportions; simple horizontal and vertical lines are used to construct a curved spindled backrest and angular armrests.

The broad seat is crafted from plywood with a solid oak or beech frame, designed for longevity and comfort.

Seat height: 44.5 cm.
Available in a choice of oiled or lacquered oak, black, sage, warm grey, or white lacquered beech.
