Product Story

The Cirque suspension light from Anglo-Italian duo Giopato & Coombes was first presented during 2017's Salone De Mobile.

The light comprises slender brushed brass hoops that create an endless composition, interrupted only by lathe-cut light capsules crafted from a solid block of glass. The ribbed texture of the cylindrical lights adds an almost art deco effect, while the technologically advanced structure brings the piece into the contemporary sphere.

The inner structure of the light is cleverly designed so that electricity is conducted along the entire length. Because of this, light is produced efficiently and consistently while still allowing for the movement. Reconfiguration is also a possibility, with multiple hoops being chained together to create an infinite form.
