The 1006 Navy Chair by Emeco is hand-crafted from recycled aluminium and designed to last for 150 years.
Lightweight and durable, the US Navy originally commissioned the chair to be made for submarines and sailors . Created using Emeco's unique 77-step system, the production process of 1006 Navy Chair includes heat-treating, anodizing, and brushing to ensure that each chair is made with the highest resilience and strength.
Constructed from recycled aluminium, the material is naturally fireproof, non-corrosive and can be used indoors and outdoors. Suited to both residential and contract environments, the Navy Chair 1006 is available in a Brushed Aluminium or Polished Aluminium finish.
