With a pattern inspired by the texture of raspberries and an innovative construction method, Samuel Wilkinson's Blown Pendant bridges the gap between traditional crafts and digital technology.
The designer utilises a 3D CAD to render the lamps almost quilted texture, creating a metal mould that imprints the design onto the skillfully mouthblown glass. Exploring how light is reflected and distorted by different surfaces, the Blown Pendant is available with a silver lustre finish, projecting an intricate display of refracted light patterns.
Each lamp comes with a powder-coated metal suspension and a fabric cord in coordinating black.
